INTRODUCTION OF THE IFMP JOURNAL

Institute of Financial Markets of Pakistan (IFMP), Pakistan’s first securities market institute, has been established by the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) as a permanent platform to develop quality human capital, capable to meet the emerging professional knowledge needs of financial markets and create standards among market professionals. The Institute has been envisioned to conduct various licensing examinations leading to certifications for different segments of the financial markets.
The IFMP Journal is published quarterly. Besides publishing regular issues, the journal also publishes special issues on current affairs on the selected topics falling within the domains of the financial market. The journal follows international SOPs for the publication process.

SCOPE OF THE IFMP JOURNAL

The IFMP Journal aims to bring contemporary knowledge and ethical standards to Pakistan’s financial Markets; as are practiced in structurally parallel but advanced jurisdictions by undertaking research towards developing the financial markets. The journal welcomes teachers, researchers, scholars from across the globe to contribute to contemporary understanding of various financial market disciplines. The themes of the journal mainly cover the content related to financial markets but the themes are not restricted to these areas only. The scope may be expanded to cover all aspects of management if the publications are considered to have advanced significant contribution to the discipline. The journal aims at providing a platform for academic discussion in the financial market and assist in publishing interdisciplinary content with international collaborations to define and support research and to encourage members to conduct research; and to participate in regional and international research initiatives.

JOURNAL’S ACCESS POLICY

The prime objective of the journal is to publish articles on contemporary areas and to make it accessible to the wider audience so, the journal follows open access policy for the Institute’s members.
